Can I be anonymous?

Absolutely. Use a fake name, tell your story without naming the employer, make the business hard to identify. It’s no problem.

Katie (not her real name) in S1, E6, was, indeed, a remodeling project coordinator, but that’s all we know about her.

What if I say something I regret while we’re recording?

Amy is a skilled and sensitive producer. If something comes out of your mouth that you immediately regret, just say so. I’ll put it in my notes and Amy will cut it in the production process.

I’m nervous, I still have such big feelings about the whole thing.

I understand. I’m 100% on your side. To my surprise and joy, people who have told their stories say they feel a lot better.

I wasn’t technically fired, it was something else. Does my story still count?
